Lighting Controls

Control lighting in various large and small buildings in an optimal way.

Software & Augmented Reality (AR) APP Programs

Development Background (Smartrol)

Our Smartrol software has been continuously upgraded and developed in line with advances in IT technology. Initially developed in the early 2000s alongside the transition from Microsoft's DOS to the Windows operating system, MRBAS's software was designed as a convenient and user-friendly lighting control program optimized for the Windows environment. Since its initial development, Smartrol has been continuously upgraded and has evolved through various versions over the past 26 years. Recently, Smartrol v.3.1 was further developed into the Smartrol Advanced version, and both programs are currently being used simultaneously.

Development Background (Smartrol Advanced)

Our Smartrol software, originally developed in the early 2000s, has been continuously upgraded and has demonstrated excellent performance over the years. However, there were limitations in applying the latest AI and various IoT-based technologies to the existing system. To address these limitations, our developers completed the development of a new software platform incorporating solutions comparable to those of the latest software technologies available on the market. The new software was officially launched in mid-2026. Featuring a new design and the ability to implement a wide range of advanced solutions, this software is also referred to simply as “S-A.” Here, we introduce Smartrol Advanced.

Overview (WEBAS-AR v.1.0)

The Augmented Reality (AR)-based mobile control system is a next-generation smart building operation support system that extends the functions of conventional building automation systems by visualizing facility information in real time and providing an intuitive control environment. Conventional building automation systems primarily rely on fixed monitoring displays, which can make it difficult to intuitively identify the status of on-site equipment. MRBAS's AR-based system utilizes the camera functions of smartphones and tablets to recognize QR codes or equipment identification information. It then overlays the equipment's operating status, energy consumption, and setpoint information directly onto the actual equipment in an augmented reality environment, providing operators with a more efficient and intuitive control experience. Through this technology, the system improves the speed and accuracy of equipment operation and enhances maintenance convenience. It also improves overall operational efficiency, helping to optimize building energy consumption and maximize operational performance.

```
Key Functions & Features
  • AR-based recognition of building automation equipment and real-time information visualization
  • Real-time data display through QR code and building automation equipment scanning
  • Intuitive interface based on area identification and location
  • Visualization of interconnected operating status between equipment
  • Integrated display of operational data for power monitoring, lighting control, equipment control, zero-energy systems, SI, FMS, BEMS, and other systems
  • Energy analysis and visualization
  • Time-based and cumulative energy consumption analysis, including energy self-sufficiency ratio
  • Anomaly detection and alarm functions
  • Reduced installation costs by minimizing the need for additional on-site control devices through QR-based operation
  • Reduced administrator response time and improved maintenance efficiency
  • Expected optimization and reduction of building energy consumption
