Smartrol Advanced
Advanced Software for ELC & DALI System
Overview
Smartrol 3.1a is software developed to efficiently
control and manage lighting systems in buildings.
Smartrol 3.1a can be operated as a standalone system
or, when required, integrated with power and building
automation systems to provide functions such as
interlocking and integrated control.
Smartrol 3.1a can be installed on both servers and
clients to provide mutual backup functionality.
Programs and database contents modified on the server
can also be monitored from the client.
Conversely, changes made on the client are immediately
reflected on the server.
Features
- General PC-class computers can be used in local server and remote server modes, providing mutual backup and standby functionality.
- User access levels can be assigned according to user roles (administrator/operator), with editing, control, and monitoring privileges restricted accordingly.
- Continuous monitoring of total real-time load consumption using graphs and charts.
- Each menu is represented by an icon, allowing flexible screen layout and configuration.
- Supports various graphic file formats for graphic drawing screens, including JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, ICO, GIF, EXIF, TIF, TIFF, WMF, and EMF.
- Tree-structured views are provided for graphics, points, devices, schedules, and groups.
- Graphic drawing screens remain clear without distortion even when zoomed in. (Vector-based)
- When an alarm occurs, the system automatically locates the corresponding device or relay, displays the alarm through a pop-up window, and provides a blinking effect on the graphic screen.
- Monitoring and analysis of data for each relay.
- Configuration and control of wireless dimming modules.
- Control and configuration of DALI-1 and DALI-2 modules.
Operation
Smartrol 3.1a is installed and operated on a PC running
a standard Windows OS using the Smartrol 3.1a Installation Program.
First, log in to the local server and configure communication
between the SCU and PC.
Enter the database information for each site and configure
groups and schedules for each control scenario.
After all data has been entered, download the program while online.
After checking the feedback status of each downloaded program,
the correct program is downloaded again if necessary.
The graphic editing function uses a Drag & Drop method,
allowing the corresponding circuit from the database to be
dragged with the mouse and dropped directly onto the graphic
lighting floor plan.
Logs and events for each program are stored in the data logging
records, allowing operators to verify when, who, and how
lighting control operations were performed.
The system enables operators to analyze and identify the status
of each data point and actual load.
Application
Smartrol 3.1a can be applied to a wide range of facilities,
from small and medium-sized buildings to large-scale buildings.
It can be used in any location requiring lighting control,
including shopping malls, office buildings, airports,
convention centers, stadiums, gyms, common areas of
apartment complexes, and public facilities.
As a dedicated lighting control software solution,
it supports schedule control, sunrise/sunset control,
occupancy sensor control, group and pattern control,
DALI dimming control, and illuminance control based on
measured light levels.
