ON & OFF system can control a building using various control modules such as ON/OFF control modules and DALI & WIRELESS DIMMING MODULEs. In particular, a simple control system can be configured with a smartphone APP. Control the building with various control modules, smart switches, and wireless systems in the lighting control system.

Why is the ON & OFF system a perfect lighting control SOLUTION?
Our ELC system, which pursues perfection and is equipped with convenience, is creating a new wave in the lighting control market and surprising the global market. The key reasons are described below.
Control panels, switches, sensor modules, and DALI masters are classified as devices, and each device is assigned a hardware ADDRESS from 001–999 for operation.
The innovative specification of MR’s ELC system is that all devices are configured with the same communication protocol and have hardware ADDRESSs.

Relay modules, sensor input modules, program switches, and DALI control masters are all connected via the same communication protocol, enabling interlinked control and forming a reliable communication network that can connect devices from 001 to 999.

As the number of control points increases, communication can become heavier and may lead to communication failure.

To maintain reliability, the system standardizes all devices into a unified specification.

Stand Alone Controller: Each relay module is equipped with an independent CPU, allowing continuous control even when other devices or the central monitoring system fail.
There are various types of relay modules used in the ELC system.
6sRM (6 Relay Module), 4sRM (4 Relay Module), 4eRM (4 Elec. Sensing Relay Module), 6eRM (6 Elec. Sensing Relay Module).

All of these relay modules have Stand Alone Controller functionality. Even if the central monitoring system, communication devices, or other relay modules fail, the program stored in the relay module CPU continues to operate unless deleted.
The program includes schedule control, group and pattern control, predefined event control, and sensor-based relay control.

A special feature is Global linkage control. In TLC and SLC systems, this was possible via SLINK, but in the ELC system, Global linkage control is possible even without SCU.
In other words, if three relay modules are connected via communication lines and the SCU is down but the line is intact, a sensor event can simultaneously trigger pre-programmed control across all three relay modules.
This is true Stand Alone control functionality.

ON/OFF and dimming systems can be integrated.
The ON/OFF control endpoint is a 20A latching relay, and the LED dimming endpoint consists of DALI Dimming Module and Wireless Dimming Module, which is the current standard.

To configure a database for these devices and enable individual and group remote control, communication protocols and device-specific software interfaces must be developed in advance.

Our Smartrol v3.1 (GS and BTL certified) already supports various programming capabilities for these devices.
It provides DB configuration, program setup, data transmission, and field data monitoring functions, enabling a highly convenient operational environment.

Therefore, the ELC system is a globally certified system that integrates both ON/OFF and dimming functions.

Self-diagnosis function for easy maintenance.
The latching relay has an auxiliary contact.
This plays an important role. When the relay operates, its status is transmitted to the monitoring software via this auxiliary contact.
If the auxiliary contact does not operate, a fault is displayed via the self-diagnosis function.

The same function is applied to DALI dimming modules.
Monitoring the status of dimming modules attached to many lighting fixtures is critical.
The ability to detect faults for each fixture from a central system has become a key requirement.

MODBUS SCU and smartphone app program
MODBUS communication is supported, allowing easy interface with other MODBUS-compatible systems.

In addition, smartphone apps with or without servers allow system configuration without software or computers, enabling low-cost operation.

Continuous R&D enables easy adaptation to new IT technologies.

The wireless dimming module uses a ZIGBEE chip, and smartphone apps are developed using Java.
